Pre-separation Technology for Refractory Weak Magnetic Iron Ore

Pre-separation of weak magnetic iron ore requires a relatively higher magnetic field strength, and the separation particle size is related to the depth of the magnetic field. RTGX series permanent magnetic separator provides solutions for pre-separation of -60mm refractory weak magnetic iron ore, particularly suitable for hematite, limonite, specular hematite, ilmenite, etc.

Case Analysis

CT1627(Φ1600x2700)pulley for large-block magnetic ores was applied in China’s Hebei Province, with a separation belt of 2500mm in width and a capacity of 4500t/h and -350mm separation particle size.

RTGX type intensity magnetic separator was adopted for hematite pre-separation with separationparticle size within a range of 10-60mm. Grade was up by 5-8% at a processingcapacity of 80 t / h for a single unit of equipment.

RTGX small-scale experimental prototype can be applied forweak magnetic iron ore separation in an effort to determine the beneficiabilityand separation indexes.
